Pi Network Deploys Stellar Protocol v25 with Enhanced Privacy & Faster Transactions
Pi Network has successfully activated its Stellar Protocol v25 upgrade on the mainnet after a two-week testing period. This significant update brings major enhancements to the network's privacy protocol, X-Ray, while also reducing payment processing times for developers.
The finalized upgrade—the result of months of preparation—aims to boost smart contract stability, simplify app monetization, and streamline migration for Zero-Knowledge Proof applications. Governance approval came from over 15.8 million KYC-verified users who participated in the vote to activate the mainnet.
Earlier this month, Testnet 25 laid the technical foundation, focusing on network stability and smart contract performance. With improved proving system efficiency and lower operational costs, Pi Network is positioning itself for wider adoption across the decentralized application landscape.
